Grand Parkway Between 249 & 290 in Tomball & Spring Near Completion

The Grand Parkway Association has announced that new segments in North Houston are on track to open soon near Cypress, Tomball, Spring, and New Caney.  F-1, which runs between 290 and 249 is very near completion.

While the Tomball City Council has taken steps to preserve the old town’s historic character, the new loop outside the loop outside the loop is expected to bring many new businesses and residents to the Northwest Houston city and surrounding communities.

“Just in the Tomball and Magnolia area, there’s been ten new industrial development parks either being planned, or opened, or that have come into fruition just since 2014. Any time you give us more access to transportation you’re going to see economic growth. Our city is spending more time on efforts to get our city infrastructure in place and plan for that growth. Our economic development corporation is already leasing out and building out spots in our EDC, and we’re looking for other places to put other businesses. We’ve got tons of people coming in trying to figure out how they can relocate to Tomball.” - Lamar Casparis, Former Chairman, Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce
